At 0702, it’s 70o at WDW and 38o in Salisbury. I left the room at 0845, to find Chris, from Mears, waiting. With an accident near the main entrance to the Magic Kingdom resort entrance, he chose an alternate route to the airport. Check-in was easy and brief. They've rearranged TSA, with no scanners, so a full pat-down was necessary. At Ruby Tuesday, the wait for a table was 15 minutes, so I sat at the bar, enjoying a Bloody Mary and the salad bar. From there, I proceeded to gate 57. A large contingent of developmentally delayed had a significant impact on boarding and pushback and a storm cell that hovered over downtown Orlando combined to delay wheels-up until 1228. At 1300, Tracy provided a pair of bourbon and gingers and the very nice fruit tray we have had in the past. I proceeded to the “F” terminal and Gate F26. A tardy pilot delayed our departure on 27R until 1714. We landed in Salisbury at 1740, with Lew waiting for me.
