At 0915, we gassed up the car and headed for Hemingway’s on Kent Island in Stevensville for lunch with Bill and Vicki Payne.
Lew drove the whole trip up, in a light rain and we arrived precisely at 1100 to find Bill and Vicky already arrived.
Bill insisted on picking up the check and we had a nice window table with the Bay Bridge and Chesapeake Bay as our backdrop, quite beautiful, even with the grey overcast.
We all started with cups of soup.
Bill & Lew chose the Crab Cake sandwich.
Vicki had a large Turkey Club and I selected a very good Atlantic Cod and chips.
They renewed their invitation for us to visit them in Ponte Vedra.
Lew had wine with lunch, so i drove the return trip to Salisbury.
