We'll arrive in Gaspe, QC at 0900 and depart at 1700 for Baie-Comeau, QC
At 0625 (EDT) it’s 40, approaching Gaspe, QC in a light fog. We docked at 0715, 40 and raining. I had breakfast, with “China,” (Fred and Linda Webb of Irvine, CA and Amy Fu & Harold Liu of Orange, CA) and agreed to go on the Forillion National Park Adventure. Tour. We boarded the bus at 0930 for a marvelous tour of the park that was just a little too long, as we made a plethora of stops to take pictures of the changing colors of autumn. This resulted in returning to the boat at 1300, along with the other three busses. We went directly to the dining room. Lew had shrimp and corn bisque while I started with an Artisan Blended Salad with Italian Dressing. Be both had cheeseburgers and then returned to the room for naps. At 1430, we were underway from Gaspe to Baie Comeau, QC. Lew was little under the weather, so I went to the afternoon cocktail party alone. I had dinner with Steve & Martha Ahlcrona from Ledyard, CT and Susan Bogart and Lawrence Bricker, of Silver Spring, MD. I started with a Creamy Eilf Mushroom Bol du vent before moving on to Braised Boneless short ribs of veef over mashed potatoes & garden vegetables. I skipped dessert and returned to the room for the evening. At 2047, it’s 45 underway to Baie Comeau, QC with the balcony door open a crack.
