Tom selected Masa for Thursday's lunch out.
Lyd started with glasses of J Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon (9) while I had iced tea (3).
We both chose side green salads (3) and I added a bowl of Miso Soup (3).
Lyd had an order of pork dumplings [called Gyoza] (6).
We both opted for the sushi bar’s offerings.
Lyd chose an American Dream Roll (16) [Rock shrimp tempura inside topped with spicy shrimp, kani, chopped lobster drizzled with spicy sweet thai mayo sauce and sweet sour chili sauce]
and I chose a trio of Masa’s Prayer Roll (13) [Inside: spicy crab, avocado, cucumber outside: four different caviar];
Hurricane Roll (15) [Inside: shrimp tempura, spicy tuna. outside: blacken tuna, avocado, cucumber, wasabi spicy mayo, eel sauce] and
Sailor Moon Roll (16) [Shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, seaweed salad and avocado wrapped with white soy paper topped with spicy mayo and special sweet creamy sauce].
