Big Bad Wolf
was introduced May 27, 1933 and is best known for his failed attempts at devouring the Three Little Pigs.

Cruella de Ville
was created by Dodie Smith in 1956, and introduced by Disney in 1961. She is best known for a pronounced cruelty to animals, in particular to dalmations.

Maleficent
is found in the narrative Perceforest, composed between 1330 and 1344 and was introduced by Disney in 1959. She was really pissed when not invited to the christening of Princess Aurora

Stromboli
was created for Carlo Collodi's 1883 book and introduced by Disney in 1940. Stromboli was a puppet master who abused and exploited Pinocchio.
Captain James Hook
created in 1904 by J.M. Barrie, was introduced by Disney in 1953. The sworn enemy of Peter Pan, his left hand was swallowed by a crocodile who follows him constantly, seeking to finish the meal.

Gaston
is original to Disney; not in the Beauty and the Beast tale by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont upon which the 1991 film is based. He's arrogant and aggressive with unrequited feelings for Belle that drives him to attack the Beast.

Red Queen
is a fictional character in Lewis Carroll's fantasy 1871 novel Through the Looking-Glass. She is often confused with (and currently assumes the identity of) the Queen of Hearts

Ursula
is based on the sea witch character who appears in the 1837 fairy tale "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. Disney (1989) made her much nastier.
Captain Nemo
created in 1870 by Jules Verne, was introduced by Disney in 1954. The captain of the Nautilus is consumed by a hunger for vengeance and a hatred of imperialism.

Jafar
is a fictional character in Walt Disney Pictures' 31st animated feature film Aladdin (1992). He has plans to over-throw the Sultan and marry Jasmine, but he needs the lamp and will trick others into securing it for him.

Scar
was created in 1989 by Disney screenwriters. He kills the Lion King Mufasa, his brother, and frames his nephew. Simba.
