SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS
A good solution for leftover dressing and gravy.
Ingredients:
2-3 boneless pork chops per person
Leftover Dressing
Leftover gravy
Procedures:
Season the chops with salt, pepper and Adobo and sear in a skillet until browned.
Arrange the chops in a single layer in a baking dish.
Put a layer of stuffing on top of the chops and pour gravy over all.
Cover with foil and bake low and slow until done.
Notes:
2019-06-01: There still doesn’t seem to be a way to make them fully cooked, but not dried out. I neglected to sear these.
2018-02-10: We used 4 boneless chop, topped with LEW's Mushroom Leek Bread Pudding and a jar of pork gravy. We ate two chops and froze the rest for another dinner. Bone-in chops might be better.
2017-01-23: Served with Lew's Mushroom Leek bread pudding.
