BACON-WRAPPED DATES |

| Ingredients: |
10 oz. Pitted Dates
12 oz. Center Cut Bacon
Toothpicks [optional]

| Procedures: |
Wrap each pitted date in 1/3 strip of bacon, [possibly fastening with a toothpick.]
Arrange on a baking pan and place on a rack in the top half of the oven.
Heat oven to 450o.
Bake about 15 minutes, until the bacon is crisp, turning three times and pouring off fat each time.
